When do we stop excepting that because we are black we have to act differently then whites just so we can stay alive. How many times do we have to witness unfair treatment when we take a peaceful stand against the injustice blacks receive from the very people who was sworn in to protect us. How long will we have to tell are black babies that they are not free to play with water guns in the park or enjoy themselves in public as freely as their white peers. This is way too much for anyone to handle, especially black mothers and fathers.

Is looting the answer, NO! Burning down building and cars of those who had nothing to do with what the corrupt police officers are doing or the justice system for that matter, is not ok. Taking your complaints to the steps of city hall, peaceful protesting, voting, sit-ins, flooding the federal court house with letters asking for a change in the justice system that include fare charges and sentencing of police abusing their power and authority to harm any citizen in anyway is the answer.

I love my people, I love my son, I love my uncles, I love my brothers, I love my sisters, I love my friends, I love my dad, I love my mom, I love family and I would love to see them all be treated fairly and when they are not, I would love to see the law enforcer pay the same price; we as blacks would face, if the table were turned and we mistreat or kill a police officer.

Enough is Enough.

When things get confusing and frustrating that’s when you know you are headed in the right direction.

Sometimes I sit and think back to where I started from when I was aware of my surroundings and started having my own thoughts and ideas.  I made a decision at 12 where I was going to live and what type of career I was going have and today, it has come to fruition.

Life is not easy.  Life is the best way to learn valuable lessons.  Nothing new happens in Life.  If it happened to you, believe that it has happened to someone else.  Life choices can lead you in many different directions.  Standing still in life is a waste of Life’s time.  In Life you must always be moving as when Life has turned out the lights there is no way to turn them back on.  Life is not easy but it can definitely be worth having it to live.

What I’ve realized from talking to some young teens is that, they know so much that when you try to educate them they already know or they don’t agree and the more they try to explain their point of view, they are just talking themselves dumb.
